Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals, brand identity and values. Create compelling content that translates our business strategies into creative visual solutions. Effectively communicate our capabilities, culture and values in a variety of ways that resonate with our target audience.

  • Lead Visual Storytelling through a variety of mediums and channels. Use your artistic talents to craft visually stunning photographs, videos, animations and other multimedia assets that resonate with our target audience. Captivate our stakeholders with your ability to curate visual content, ensuring that it conveys a cohesive and impactful message that matters.
  • Maintain, manage and grow asset libraries. Select, organize and make available photos, videos, graphics and templates that support the MarComm team through Iconik, Adobe, SharePoint and other relevant tools.
  • Provide creative direction that brings cohesion and clarity to design choices and protects brand integrity. Establish and maintain relationships with MarComm team members, photographers, videographers and other creative partners to support visual storytelling initiatives across various channels, including social media, website, and print materials. Challenge the status quo. Provide guidance and feedback to educate MarComm team members on design best practices.
  • Elevate the reputation of our construction and materials business through cutting edge design. Stay abreast of design industry trends, emerging design techniques and new technologies to help us bring a fresh approach to how the construction and materials industry is presented. Passionately gather information about our projects and plants, uncovering unique stories and narratives.

  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and adjust to optimize design choices. Use data and content engagement metrics to continuously evaluate design choices and refine strategy.

Relevant Skills:

Oversee the development and production of multimedia content, including print materials, digital assets, videos and social media campaigns.

  • Experience working in a variety of mediums, especially graphic design (print and digital) as well as video/animation production, photography, etc.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate MarComm team to reach their full potential.
  • In-depth knowledge of creative processes, design principles, brand development and project management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to plan, schedule and analyze effectiveness of multiple projects with competing deadlines and work under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in visual communication, graphic design or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful creative campaigns and projects.

Preferred:

  • Expertise in graphic design software and tools such as the full Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 Suite.
