Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Systems, the Viewpoint System Analyst is a role with a hybrid skill set a deep understanding of business computing unique to the construction industry and the ability to align HR and payroll needs to it.  This position requires systems thinking (an understanding of how everything connects) to solve problems and leverage opportunities in our construction companies that use Viewpoint for HR and payroll.  This role will bridge the communication gap between business users, HR, and IT.  It will implement new system capabilities and improve processes.  The position will be on THG's Indianapolis campus and work closely with regional offices and field locations. Occasional travel is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Architects application solutions to improve business processes using a repeatable, standard, and cohesive framework
• Solicits, interprets, and documents business requirements related to HR and payroll
• Resolves differences between key stakeholders and external application vendors or ITSS
• Develops and implements application and reporting solutions
• Designs and writes standard and ad-hoc reports, KPIs and dashboards, and ad-hoc datasets
• Under the direction of ITSS, integrates applications and provides application customizations
• Maintains user accounts and ensures security best practices (defined by ITSS) are followed
• Participates in system upgrades including validation, benchmarking, UAC testing, and debugging
• Documents and maintains knowledge base articles and learning content
• Coordinates new feature roll-out training with administrators and power users
• Proactively identifies changes in processes or data that affect downstream system use and data integrity
• Maintains confidentiality and the highest degree of integrity

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise resource planning software
• Viewpoint experience
• SQL experience
• Familiarity with financial accounting, human resources, and project management in the construction or engineering field
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, AccountingFinance, Construction Management, or related field
• 3-5 years previous experience in an IT related position
• Proficient designing reports with Excel, SSRS, Crystal, and other report writers

Experience supporting applications in mobile field management, project scheduling, cost estimating, and material production systems preferred
