Job Summary:

The Heritage Group seeks an expert to join our IT Shared Services team who understands the operation and support of enterprise construction software systems and the related application infrastructure. Initially, this position's primary function will focus on the Future State of HR and integrate a new corporate HR system to sync with Vista by Viewpoint's HR module. After the integration project, this position will ensure the efficient and effective operation of enterprise-class business applications serving our portfolio of construction companies. These applications include Viewpoint products, HCSS HeavyBid, HCSS HeavyJob, HCSS Safety, and Keystone. In this position, you will bridge the communications gap between business users and information technologists, implement new capabilities, improve existing processes, and support enterprise IT applications. This position reports to the ITSS Construction Application Manager and collaborates with finance, project administration, and field operations stakeholders. The position is supported by fellow ITSS team members providing network services, data services, and user support.

The position can be remote, require travel at times, and work closely with regional offices and field locations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with HR stakeholders to plan and integrate two-way sync between the future corporate HR system and Vista by Viewpoint to ensure consistent and accurate data in both systems.
  • Architect application solutions to improve business processes using a repeatable, standard, and cohesive framework.
  • Solicit, interpret, and document business requirements by interfacing directly with business users and stakeholders
  • Resolve differences between key stakeholders and external application vendors.
  • Develop and implement application solutions.
  • Tier 3 support of issues unresolved by in-house tier 1 and 2 technicians.
  • Integrate applications and provide application customizations.
  • Maintain user accounts and ensure security best practices are followed.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, including validation, benchmarking, UAC testing, and debugging.
  • Document and maintain knowledge base articles and learning content. Coordinate new feature roll-out training with administrators and power users.
  • Monitor performance and ensure application integrity.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies specific to the business industry.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise resource planning software. Viewpoint products, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, and HCSS Safety experience required.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting, human resources, and project management in the construction or engineering field is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management or related field is required.
  • Experience supporting applications in mobile field management, project scheduling, cost estimating, and material production systems is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in an IT-related position is required.
