Truck Parts Specialist

Speedway Construction Products, part of The Heritage Group family of companies, is seeking a mixer and dump truck parts specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for the purchasing and procurement of parts to support our maintenance department.

Job Duties:

• Purchase parts and maintain an accurate inventory.
• Work with technicians to ensure that all orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for placing, tracking, and receiving all parts ordered.
• Work with technicians to proactively maintain inventory levels.
• Make core returns and exchanges as necessary.
• Manage invoices and insure accurate pricing from vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
• Detail oriented, able to follow through on commitments, and take ownership of projects.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, kneel, squat, grip, climb, sit, stand as needed to perform daily duties.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Computer efficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to operate forklift and/or other small equipment.

Experience: 1 -3 years preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must adhere to drug free workplace requirements, including random testing requirements.
• If required to drive a company vehicle, must have or be able to obtain valid state driver's license and meet company driver requirements.
