Treasury Operations Specialist, Corporate Finance

Summary Description

As the Treasury Operations Specialist, you will support a broad range of responsibilities within THG's Corporate Treasury group which is responsible for cash processing, reconciliation, and reporting functions are completed promptly. You will also ensure financial obligations are met in accordance with company policies. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize TMS to reconcile bank accounts for proper funding of disbursements
• Identify proper approvals for transactions
• Record banking activity and provide to GL Accountants
• Create and approve electronic funds transfers in a TMS and/or bank websites
• Assist in answering AP/AR-related questions from the THG family of operating companies
• Deposit checks received in the office to the appropriate bank account
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare miscellaneous reports

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1-year Treasury/Banking experience beneficial
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadlines
• Highly motivated, resourceful, and willing to take on additional responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with management, business units, financial institution contacts, and auditors.
• Must be able to work with various specialized banking systems, including a treasury workstation, and be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
