The Center Lead Maintenance Technician

The Center Lead Maintenance Technician will be a lead resource for The Center, a state-of-the-art multi-use Corporate facility with 112,000 ft2 of office, meeting, laboratory, and entertainment spaces. It also features a 50+ acre site with outdoor spaces, walking trails, ponds, and outbuildings. The Lead Maintenance Technician will work on-site with The Heritage Group team and be employed through our facilities vendor Integrated Facility Services

Lead Maintenance Technician Technical Responsibilities:

• Interface directly with Center team members and visitors to provide building and tenant services
• Daily assessment (walkthrough) of building needs
• Assist meeting/events team as needed
• Repair and maintenance of HVAC including laboratory ventilation
• HVAC automation controls (Metasys or similar)
• Maintain service log and assign tasks to maintenance team
• Basic electrical understanding
• Security, door, and gate automation
• Fountain operation and controls
• Repair and maintenance of Boilers, Humidifiers, and Hot Water Heaters
• Back-up electrical systems including generators and ABS systems
• VAV systems
• Lighting repair and automation
• Basic plumbing
• Basic carpentry
• Occasional night/weekend on-call response

kills/Experience Needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent, trade school or related training in preventative & corrective maintenance is preferred.
• Experience building mechanical & electrical systems
• Hands-on expertise in painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, roofing, HVAC & electrical blueprints
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Team Player
