PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst

Job Summary

The PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst serves as a functional expert in our HR Shared Services team for the HR, Payroll, and Benefits processes for the PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (HRIS), TimeClocks Plus, our Learning Management System (Lessonly), and ViewPoint systems

Essential Job Functions

• Define and document requirements, assist with design, and assist with system configuration
• Collaborate with end users and technical resources to resolve business and system issues; while ensuring data integrity and system performance
• Assist with day-to-day support monitor the inbox on a rotating basis, answer questions, assist with setting up and training new users, troubleshooting issues for applications supported by the HRIS team including, but not limited to PeopleSoft, TimeClocks Plus, Lessonly, and ViewPoint
• Assist in researching new functionality delivered by the system vendors and determining how to set it up and how it might work for us
• Assist with gathering data/requirements for new projects
• Assist in writing documentation & creating training materials for end-users on processes and procedures
• Create test plans & testing scenarios based on requirements, create test scripts to prove each scenario through system and user acceptance testing, complete data validations & testing during projects and new development
• Set up and maintain tables/System Configuration: HR tables, including Departments, Locations, and Establishments, Payroll tables, including Earnings Codes, Deduction Codes, Pay Calendars, and Combo Cods, Benefits tables including Benefit programs, Benefit plans, Eligibility rules, Event rules, and Coverage formulas
• Write, run, and report on basic queries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years PeopleSoft HR experience
• Experience working with end users
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with effectively solving problems
• Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality
