Marketing and Videography Intern

The Heritage Group is looking for a well-organized and creative intern to support our Early-In-Career Talent Team. This is a great development opportunity for someone interested in exploring a career path within Marketing, Graphic Design, as well as Public Relations and Talent Development. As a member of the People + Culture Team, this person will work closely with and support the Early-In-Career Talent Specialist and Coordinator with a multitude of tasks.

Timeline: May 15th – August 4th Paid Summer Internship: $18/hour

Location: This position is based in Indianapolis and will require work at The Center 6320 Intech Blvd, Indianapolis, IN, 46278

Job Responsibilities:

The Summer Internship Program Marketing Projects

  • Take pictures and videos at every Internship Program event and organize content within OneDrive
  • Edit pictures and videos to create social media content that can be shared by interns, managers, and the EIC talent team on LinkedIn and other social media websites.
  • Potential travel to different work sites in order to interview and photograph interns that are out in the field or plant site.
  • Identify target audiences on each platform and create personas to drive content.
  • Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and overall social presence.
  • Help interview interns and their managers/mentors to accurately depict their stories that can be shared on social media, blog posts, and internal communication campaigns
  • Create an end of the summer booklet containing intern pictures + stories as a gift for all interns and their managers at the end of the summer.
  • Create a mini-video series that can be used on social media and our website to highlight the internship program.

Young Professional Employee Resource Group + Kid's Science Camp Marketing Projects

  • Take pictures and videos at every YP ERG event + Kid's Science Camp
  • Edit pictures and videos to create social media content that can be shared by YPs, Kid's Science Camp attendees, and the EIC talent team on LinkedIn and other social media websites.
  • Work alongside the corporate marketing team to update our YP ERG SharePoint site with new pictures + videos of our event.

Miscellaneous Tasks

  • Career Fair swag closet organization and inventory of all supplies
  • Work with Marketing and Communications team to help coordinate weekly email content that promotes stories featuring our interns/young professionals as well as their managers/mentors.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the business to help generate content.
  • Provide suggestions for improving experience on social platforms and internal processes, including extension of THG's Internship Program social presence onto additional channels.

Position Requirements:

  • Open to all current college students pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution
  • Ability to troubleshoot challenges that arise
  • A "go-getter" attitude willing to tackle any situation that may come your way
  • Marketing, Graphic Design, PR, Communications, or Business majors preferred
