Job Summary:

Heritage Construction + Materials is seeking a marketing specialist who will be able to develop integrated outreach plans for a variety of audiences. Someone who can create and deliver compelling and engaging written and visual content for use across all communication channels including print, social and digital.

The full-time position reports to the Product Marketing Manager and will be responsible for shaping and overseeing delivery of multiple brands and product campaigns. To be successful in this role, you should be able to turn creative ideas into compelling content and provide strategic recommendations related to campaign effectiveness and emerging trends.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • A deep understanding of the HC+M brands and businesses. Help to bring them to life for stakeholders, customers and employees through strong, engaging content that creates value for each target stakeholder
  • Support HC+M's existing and emerging product marketing programs including website updates, website stories, campaigns, social media, communications, sales collateral, events and email to develop brand consistency and brand awareness for target audiences
  • Primarily responsible for determining the core message that is needed for each brand or product marketing communication
  • Work with the HC+M creative team to ensure each design is creatively appropriate for each message, including adherence to safety SOPs and other brand standards
  • Use data analytics and content engagement metrics to continuously optimize communications, design choices and strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day project management of multiple marketing programs to ensure content design, visual storytelling and brand best practices are upheld through entire production process
  • Maintain, manage and grow asset libraries and marketing and communication templates, core messages

Important Skills, Capabilities & Expertise:

  • Excellent analytical, writing and editing skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to discover, create, manage and own projects
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint, CRM, social media and analytics
  • Ability to blend the left-brain/right-brain nuances of marketing and brand management to connect with customers
  • Technical savvy with an understanding of highly technical industries
  • Versatile design aesthetic; displaying thoughtfulness, creative problem solving, detail and innovation
  • Experience working in a variety of mediums, especially graphic design (print and digital) as well as video/animation production and photography
  • Proficient in Adobe suite of products, Canva and other creative tools, video editing a plus
  • Adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, while still being able to consistently meet all deadlines
  • Experience in setting a creative vision and a demonstrated ability to execute against that vision
  • Ability to work with clients and subject matter experts in content development through engaging processes and approaches
  • Ability to ensure accuracy, compelling, engaging, high quality copy in all communications
  • Ability to build trust and form strong relationships while adding creatively to new and enhancing existing work processes, including the strategic sequencing of content and the ability to repurpose content where appropriate and meaningfully to target audience(s)

Requirements:

  • College graduate or proven experience
  • Deep interest in product marketing, brand management and strategy development
  • Experience writing and developing marketing and communications content
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, social media, Adobe Suite of tools, WordPress, Sendible/Buffer, Power BI
  • Deep understanding of the systems and distribution mechanisms of CRM (Constant Contact, e.g.) and social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
