Logistics Lead

As the Logistics Lead you will report to the Director of Logistics, and be an integral part of our growth as a company. Asphalt Materials is committed to building long term relationships with customers and vendors based on trust and confidence, creating solutions to issues affecting our customers and their industries.

What You'll Do:

• Lead centralized dispatching operations
• Lead future platform development projects
• Manage freight invoice discrepancies for AP
• Manage carrier equipment lists and electronic driver signatures
• Manage assigned DOT operations
• Manage quarterly IFTA reporting to tax department
• Manage fleet maintenance
• Front line management of DQF and D&A programs
• Other responsibilities as directed

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields
• 5+ years of dispatching experience
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• 1-3 years fleet management experience
• Self-motivated and passionate, driven to succeed, enthusiastic about delivering high-quality work and making a difference in your function, our company, and our industry.
• Ability to work with and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive company information.
• Have a strong ownership mentality and drive for results.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability in building and developing relationships to drive effective collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey various forms of information to a broad audience.
