Job Summary

The Heritage Group is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to support our learning and development team as we continue to grow. The LMS is used to create, manage, deliver, and report on learning and training requirements. This is an opportunity to explore a career path within Learning and Development and Human Resources. As a member of the People and Culture team, the LMS Administrator will maintain daily functionality within our system, Lessonly, and act as the main point of contact across all companies within our portfolio.


*This position may be done remotely or in our Indianapolis office*


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of learning through LMS and standardized content when applicable
  • Create and execute a governance strategy to ensure content readiness and stakeholder review at regular intervals
  • Administer access and role-based user permissions, updating course content, and running reports
  • Assist with encouraging learning across companies through proactive communication and coordination of learning activities
  • Prepare, deliver and manage reports as requested from various companies
  • Assist with the design, development and production of web-based training
  • Responsible for providing daily support and maintaining the ongoing operations of LMS
  • Address any system issues or user issues in a prompt and timely manner
  • Act as key stakeholder in LMS future state vendor selection and play a leadership role in new LMS implementation

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience with LMS administration
  • Associate or bachelor's degree, preferably with an IT, HR or Instructional Design focus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel and PowerPoint experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage several projects at once
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and possess strong business writing skills
  • Outstanding customer service with the ability to build productive working relationships
  • Works well independently and can collaborate with individuals of varying degrees of responsibilities, including professionals and leaders outside of department or business unit
  • Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
