We are hiring an IS Administrator to join our team.The IS Administrator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support of company's information systems; provides accurate and timely technical support to end users to ensure effective use of technology and minimize disruption to business operations.

Successful candidates will have a deep knowledge of our business and the ability to solve business problems with software applications; a customer-focused attitude with the ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms to help end users with their support needs, and the ability to prioritize assistance requests; an ability to learn and become the subject matter expert for applications including, but not limited to HCSS (HeavyJob, Forms, Safety, etc), Viewpoint, Apple (iPad, iPhones).  This individual will also be responsible for analyzing IT training needs and conducting training as required.  Travel to job sites, field offices and area offices will be required; responding to technical requests during day, night and weekend hours is also required.

 

Essential functions include:

  • Supports and maintains databases, software and applications
  • Provides User Support and Training
  • Streamlines and automates processes
  • Communicates with internal/external customers
  • Promotes and maintains safe work environment

 

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Construction Management or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years' experience in construction IT application support and use, including process improvement, end user support
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Sharepoint
  • Ability to obtain industry IT related certifications
  • Ability to develop relationships with individuals throughout the organization
  • Customer service focus 
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve technical problems, in person, over the phone, and over the internet
