Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Generalist


Due to our continued growth, we are adding a Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Generalist to our Corporate HR/Talent Acquisition team to manage the daily HR functions. The Generalist will partner with the HR Director and Manager of Talent Acquisition to support employee changes, relations, employee engagement, compensation, and recruiting functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit, source talent and collaborate with hiring leaders to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer or support the execution of human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, investigations, performance, talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee and company meetings.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Assist with new hire orientation.
  • Performs other duties and project work as assigned.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work history.
  • 1-3 years of Talent Acquisition and HR experience.
