Heritage Research Group Summer Intern - 2019

Heritage Research Group is seeking qualified students to join the HRG team of industry and research professionals during the Summer of 2019.  The Intern will gain valuable insight into our Research and Development group and make their own contributions to the business.  The internship will entail:

  • Working in a dedicated area of our Research Group
  • Working alongside a growing team of industry professionals
  • Valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting
  • Present on project/work at the end of the internship

 Requirements:

  • Working towards degree in Occupational Hygiene, Chemistry, or Engineering (Chemical, Chemical Technology, Industrial, or Petroleum)
  • Completed Sophomore year by start of internship
  • Previous lab experience through internship or coursework a plus
  • Interest or experience in at least one of the following: research, materials testing, asphalt, construction, waste water, occupational hygiene, specialty chemicals, or lubricants
  • Must commit to 10-12 week internships

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently and within various teams
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Timely, positive and professional work habits
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
