We seek a high-energy Human Resources Business Partner to help drive our HR initiatives and promote our high-performance culture in our Indianapolis Operations Office and our Sales group found throughout the Midwest region.
How You'll Make an Impact
- You will partner with employee teams at appropriate levels to drive performance and build organizational capability, including coaching and enabling managers to be better leaders.
- You will closely collaborate with peers and colleagues throughout the HR community to bring to bear the complete HR value chain.
- As a trusted advisor and thought leader, you will drive discussions related to cultural and workforce changes and provide recommendations.
- Enable local departments to develop a diverse, robust talent pipeline, including focusing on succession planning.
- Keep an overall pulse of the sales and operations leadership team and constantly scan the external market for trends and influences.
- Partner with the operation and sales managers to create and implement people strategies that support department specific strategic initiatives and leverage site HR resources for routine activities
- Use data (new hire, pulse, exit, engagement, manager assessments) to identify critical areas of development and create development plans to support leaders/management teams.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Excellent consulting, interpersonal, and coaching skills
- Strategic and critical thinking, including demonstrated problem-solving and complex decision-making skills
- Ability to leverage data to draw insights, tell stories, and make recommendations
- Curiosity and growth mindset
- Strong understanding of change leadership
- Prior experience working in manufacturing and/or matrixed environments is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of human resources partner experience demonstrating a proven understanding of multiple human resources subject areas, including employee relations, performance management, and management consultation.
- Willingness to travel within the Midwest region up to 15% with minimal overnight travel
- Clean driving record
