Early-In-Career Talent Experience Intern
The Heritage Group is looking for a well-organized and open-minded intern to support our Early-In-Career Talent Team. This is a great development opportunity for someone interested in exploring a career path within Event Planning, Learning and Development, as well has Human Resources and Talent Development. As a member of the People + Culture Team, this person will work closely with and support the Early-In-Career Talent Specialist and Coordinator with a multitude of tasks.
Timeline: May 23rd – June 30th Paid Summer Internship: $18/hour
Location: This position is based in Indianapolis and will require work at The Center 6320 Intech Blvd, Indianapolis, IN, 46278
Job Responsibilities:
Support The Summer Internship Program
- Support EIC Talent Team in hosting on-site professional development and networking events-assist with setup, coordination and teardown; including name badges, flipcharts, participants materials, etc.
- Help coordinate the summer internship mentorship program and assist in communicating weekly activities with mentors and interns
- Interview interns as well as their managers/mentors for social media/blog content to use in future marketing campaigns
Support The Kid's Science Camp
- Support the promotion of Kids Science Camp by, managing internal communication streams, assisting with organization of camp, manage attendee roster and requests
Miscellaneous
- Career Fair swag closet organization and inventory of all supplies
- Assist with the planning and execution of events for the Young Professional Employee Resource Group
- Work with Marketing and Communications team to help coordinate weekly email content that promotes stories featuring our interns/young professionals as well as their managers/mentors.
- Work to gather employee testimonials from workshops and events for a mini-video series
Position Requirements:
- Open to all current college students pursuing a undergraduate degree at an accredited institution
- Ability to troubleshoot challenges that arise
- A "go-getter" attitude willing to tackle any situation that may come your way
- Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or Education majors preferred
