Treasury Intern

The Heritage Group is looking for an eager student to join our corporate treasury and finance team for an internship during the Summer of 2019.  This internship will provide a student with exposure to the day to day life of a treasury department but will primarily focus on projects over the summer.  The intern will gain hands on experience and be able to work alongside industry professionals throughout these projects.  Possible projects will include:

• Building new capabilities in support of The Heritage Group operating companies needs related to cash management and treasury operations
• Building and testing a treasury management system that integrates with multiple ERP systems

An ideal candidate would be the following:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related major
• In their third year of study or Junior class standing
• Strong analytical skills
• Outgoing, positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and work collaboratively with team
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organization and time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced skills in Excel is preferred
• Must commit to 12-week internship
