Corporate Counsel
Job Summary:
Heritage Construction + Materials (HC+M) currently has an exciting Corporate Counsel opportunity on our team. The Corporate Counsel will report to HC+M's General Counsel and provide legal services in support of the entire organization and its affiliated entities. Areas of support will include human resources; contract review, drafting and negotiations; litigation; mergers and acquisitions; policy and compliance development; and insurance matters.

Essential Job Functions:
- Review, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements
- Manage multiple legal matters across companies simultaneously
- Participate in legal needs related to labor relations
- Manage litigation matters and outside counsel relationships
- Partner with M+A team to support M&A activity among the HC+M companies
- Assist with the development, implementation and management of corporate governance and compliance policies
- Develop strong, collaborative partnerships with operations, finance, and human resources

Qualifications
- J.D. from accredited law school and licensed or qualified to practice law in Indiana
- 2+ years of general legal experience, preferably as an associate in a law firm
