Corporate Aircraft Captain

• Responsible for aircraft database management and updates; oversight of aircraft stock and supplies; maintaining office supplies and computer equipment
• Assist Jim with maintenance items as needed (preventive, scheduled, unscheduled) – will take over as Maintenance Director upon Jim's retirement
• Captains reports to the Chief Pilot and responsibilities include: Ensuring the aircraft, weather, flight planning, departure airport facilities, enroute and destination facilities meets operational requirements.
• Ensuring required aircraft certificates and manuals are on board the aircraft prior to commencing a flight.
• Supervising the flight crew and maintenance of company aircraft while on flights.
• Having knowledge of and adhering to regulations including recent flight experience and SOP's (Standard Operating Proceedures).
• Attending regularly scheduled ground and simulator training, maintaining flight proficiency and knowledge of all flight operations, regulations and aircraft systems
• Maintaining current required licenses and certificates to comply with company, ICAO (as applicable) and FAA requirements.
• Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft, ordering of catering, if required, and ensuring aircraft commissary inventory and supplies are on board.
• Make crew hotel reservations, airport reservations and US Customs arrangements as applicable.
• Assisting loading and unloading of baggage and providing passenger needs as required.
• Conducting flight operations in accordance with international, federal, state, local and corporate regulations;
• Exhibit role model behavior and leadership in flight operations standard operating procedures.

*Flight Crew members are routinely "On-Call" – flying many weekends and holidays as well as needing to be airborne within 1-2 hours when trips arise on short notice. The THG flight dept. is a 24/7 operation 365 days a year with someone needing to always be available.
