Content Manager
Summary: We are seeking a content manager with excellent interpersonal skills for this newly created role. The Content Manager will be responsible for planning, writing, editing and analyzing the performance of a wide variety of business-critical content in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The candidate will develop messaging designed to educate, inform, and inspire employees, customers and the community to action over a seven-state footprint. The successful candidate will act as a tenacious, deadline-driven project manager and storyteller who can keep a pulse on people-centered stories across a large, evolving, family-owned, essential business.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Planning content deadlines with internal communications, external marketing and design team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Partnering with functional teams, including talent, research, sustainability, strategy and acquisitions, to understand and position opportunities and initiatives that alight with strategic business goals
- Editing and copywriting for a variety of mediums, including newsletters, blog posts, ads, video scripts, social campaign themes, brand stories and thought leadership
- Creating and deploying multi-media materials that are easily digestible by a diverse employee population with varying levels of technical and literacy skills
- Establishing and driving creative workflow process from project initiation, execution, approvals, production, proofing, tracking, and archiving
- Collaborating to ensure alignment and cascading of messages across the businesses
- Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategy to manage the end-user experience and ensure the highest level of awareness and engagement
Relevant Skills:
- Ability to tell an engaging story with creativity and accuracy
- Analytical mindset with incredible attention to detail
- Ability to lead and manage multiple high priority projects with short and long-term goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a similar field
- 5-7 years of internal communications or marketing content development experience
Preferred:
- Proficient in Microsoft O365 Suite, including SharePoint
- Experience with Adobe Creative, including InDesign and Illustrator
