Compensation Summer Intern

The Compensation team is responsible for the design, execution, and evaluation of compensation programs, practices and systems at The Heritage Group. As a Compensation Intern, you will contribute to compensation projects, initiatives, and processes. You will have the opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge to assist with real business challenges, connect and build relationships with leaders and colleagues, and enhance skills that are transferable to any professional setting.
Timeline: Application open on a rolling basis or until February 28th at 5:00pm
Full-time paid summer internship from May 16th – August 5th

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with the administration of compensation programs, practices, policies and procedures
- Assists with job analysis, job evaluation, and benchmarking
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and perform analysis
- Contributes to compensation and total rewards special projects and/or assignments, such as identifying improvement opportunities for the year-end compensation process
- Assists with streamlining compensation documentation, programs, processes and help identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborates with key stakeholders and colleagues across the business
Relevant Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, with demonstrated high level of responsibility and professionalism
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential data
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Junior or Senior actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields
- Proficiency with MS Office applications with intermediate Excel skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong data analysis and attention to detail
