Communications and Marketing Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's social media accounts, post regular content, and monitor analytics.
• Partner with external consultants to manage company website, company store, promotional content, etc.
• Write, design, and edit easily digestible content for company quarterly newsletter.
• Partner with parent company (The Heritage Group) on future community relations strategies.
• Partner with Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association on future projects, learnings, communications, content, etc.
• Maintain and manage internal SharePoint site.
• Design resources and templates powerpoints, letter heads, banners for sponsorships/donations, board presentations, etc.
• Design social media posts and promotions.
• Maintain brand standards and stay up to date on marketing strategies, improvements, efficiencies, and innovations.
• Partner with Strategic Communications Director for Heritage Construction and Materials and The Heritage Group's communications teams.
• Partner with all company departments on any internal communication or marketing needs.
• Frequent travel to attend regular on-site events at the plants.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in communications or marketing related work preferred
• Skilled in Adobe InDesign
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must have the ability to work outside and continuously stand or walk on level or uneven ground.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or Journalism majors preferred
