We are prequalified with the Indiana Department of Transportation and Departments of Transportation in the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois.

Position Summary:

Assists in the planning with the construction of heavy civil/highway projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with project administration
    • Supports completion of project documentation, accurately and on time
    • Contributes to project schedule; ensure timely completion of project through schedule
    • Aids in documentation of utility relocation efforts
    • Ensures compliance and contract obligations are met
    • Develops strong knowledge of all project plans, specs, subcontracts, PO's, shop drawings, submittals
    • Ability to work on multiple projects with differing scopes and specifications
  • Communicates effectively
    • Develops effective working relationships with owner, subs, and suppliers
    • Contributes at project meetings
    • Facilitates collaboration among owner, subs, suppliers, and company personnel
  • Maintains safe work environment
    • Exhibits safe work behaviors
    • Wears all prescribed PPE
    • Enforces all company safety policies

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • BS/BA in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the heavy/highway industry preferred
