Accounts Receivable Supervisor

We are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our AR Billing, Cash Application & Collections Department. If you are self-motivated and highly skilled with cash application and credit collections experience, come grow with us!

What we want you to accomplish

• Reviews methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency.
• Within first 60 Days: Become familiar with AR Processes and the following systems: Great Plains & In-House Billing Systems
• Understand the core values of the businesses
• Become conversant with the customer base

Core Activities:

• Work directly with Cash Application Specialist to ensure processing and posting of credit card, check, ACH/EFT transactions, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage AR Invoicing Specialist to ensure creation and posting of invoices within our In-House billing systems.
• Effectively supervise collections activities for a large, multi-state, customer account portfolio
• Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Develop new SOPs and metrics to increase efficiency and accuracy within the team.
• Work closely with the AR team members with assigning task, vacations, and coaching.
• Regularly generate reports on errors, exceptions and transaction balancing.
• Work directly with internal departments to resolve issues surrounding invoicing and cash applications.

Education / Certifications Required:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting or Management preferred.
• Previous experience in management and Accounts Receivable a preferred.
• Moderate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office a plus.
