What You'll Do:

  • Drive safety for trucking companies and road construction crews in various states.
  • Create an innovative safety program specific to our trucking and application business needs.
  • Champion company safety guidelines, safety programs, and safety procedures.
  • Utilize Job Hazard Analysis information to mitigate risk in Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Incident Root Cause Analysis
  • Conduct OSHA and DOT onsite safety training for truck drivers and road construction crews.
  • Audit equipment, documentation, construction, and application job sites to ensure compliance.

What You'll Need:

  • Ability to influence and be a change leader across the organization by creating excitement around new initiatives and gaining buy in from stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a strong desire to innovate, build and influence programs within the organization.
  • Demonstrated work experience: building management systems, conducting incident investigations, training, auditing, implementing compliance and safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in OSHA and DOT compliance.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Ability to travel with multi day site visits
  • Appropriate driving record

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey various forms of information to a broad audience.
