Job Summary:

This Great Plain Administrator position will be specifically supporting The Heritage Group's Asphalt and Aggregate businesses. The role will have a dual reporting responsibility to both technology and accounting leadership. The role will be responsible for leveraging the existing system, supporting upgrades, identifying process improvements and leading system integration efforts. 


Essential Job Functions:

  • Administer Microsoft Dynamics GP system to ensure a secure and stable application. 
  • Maintain interfaces between custom ERP applications and GP. Ensure systems correctly integrate and communicate. 
  • Support deployment of new ERP applications and ensure GP is prepared on the backend.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage GP capabilities in support of business goals and objectives. 
  • Support development, administration and project work that relates to GP. 
  • Improve and expand GP's reporting capabilities using Smartlist, Excel Reports, SSRS, Crystal Reports, and ad-hoc SQL queries.
  • Responsible for implementing, upgrading and customizing GP with systems in place and new deployments. 



  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related discipline preferred. 
  • Minimum three years of experience working with Dynamics GP 2010, 2013, or 2015. 
  • Depth of experience with General Ledger, AP, AR, Billing, Purchasing, Cash Management and Inventory modules. 
  • Proven ability to interact with internal stakeholders, build relationships, solve problems and communicate clearly. 
  • Strong Accounting/Finance experience required. 
  • Strong Project Management experience preferred. 
  • Hands onexperience with SQL Server, SSRS, FRx/Management Reporter. 
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred. 
  • Experience working with customized ERP packages and integrating those systems to GP.
