Description: We are seeking a bench chemist experienced in inorganic and organic synthesis, capable of working independently under the direction of senior personnel.  We are a multi-functional research group providing support to a variety of companies from a diverse set of industries.  We seek a candidate with a creative attitude capable of exploring novel chemistry while also displaying a level of practicality.



  • Conceiving, planning, and safely executing technical work of moderate complexity under the supervision of senior laboratory leaders
  • Evaluating proposed process through online research, experimentation, and data interpretation.
  • Troubleshooting existing processes to increase efficiency and minimize or find alternative use for waste streams



  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science degree
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience
  • Experience with reactor set-up and operation
  • Experience with scale-up from laboratory to pilot
  • Experience confidently handling hazardous chemicals and hazardous wastes, in a safe and professional manner
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent record keeping
