The Learning and Compliance Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation and sustained architecture of the learning management system across The Heritage Group.  Responsibilities include LMS architecture and design for end-users, managers, and administrators. Additionally, this role is accountable for the administration of onboarding and corporate risk compliance management through utilization of the LMS and refinement of internal core processes.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Consult and provide guidance to THG's group of companies on LMS architecture including company structures, approval matrixes, and learning design to maximize the LMS's functionality and optimize end-user experience.
  • Act as a liaison between the third-party technical team and business partners to translate LMS requirements into application specifications. Work with technical team to research, resolve and test resolutions to operational issues. Manage LMS vendor relationship.
  • Responsible for executing LMS's architecture for THG's group of companies
  • Assist business in the development of content and/or partnering with a third-party content vendor to find learning solutions fit for purpose.
  • Manage the administration of THG onboarding compliance, which includes new hire education, pre-employment testing, and internal processes.
  • Support senior leaders to overseas corporate compliance and risk programs by providing timely reporting and consultation of at-risk areas.
  • Supports cyclical HR processes/projects and cross-functional HR initiatives as needed.




  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in HR) or applicable experience in learning and HR cyclical processes for a mid-size organization.
  • 3-5 or more years of experience working in HR, compliance, and/or learning
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project work, both as a team member and as a project leader
  • Proven customer service orientation
